There’s Finally Going to Be a ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ Beer

Nothing really matters, except beer.
Nothing really matters, except beer.

Forty years after the release of their rollicking, genre-smashing hit song “Bohemian Rhapsody,” English rock stars Queen are celebrating the song’s anniversary with … a branded beer. Aptly, if blandly, called the Queen Bohemian Lager, the beer will hit European shelves this summer with a worldwide rollout to follow; it’s being described vaguely as a “golden hoppy.” But that doesn’t much matter, because dads across the land will love it no matter what, thanks to bottles featuring art from A Night at the Opera, the album on which “Rhapsody” first appeared. Whether there will be a separate beer released to honor the 23rd anniversary of Wayne Campbell’s crushing cover has not yet been confirmed. But at $31 for a 12-pack of 12-ounce bottles, the Bohemian Lager is not exactly cheap swill.
